Glenesk provides a sound education to a very high standard and the school has a fine record of academic success with pupils regularly attaining scholarships to schools of their choice.
Our curriculum is designed to educate the children towards purposeful learning and to prepare them for entrance tests for their future schools. Literacy, Numeracy and Science are studied following the National Curriculum programmes.
Year Two is seen as a bridge between Glenesk and the child's future school; a more independent approach is encouraged here with personal organisation and preparation.
Homework is routinely set and parents have the opportunity to discuss their child's work with the Form Mistress throughout the year. Written reports are sent out twice a year.
